Lisa Geyer graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA with a BS in Communications and received her Masters degree in Teaching at National Louis University in Chicago, IL. She was an educator in Illinois, Paris, France and in North Carolina. Her non-profit work started in 2000 when she founded Worldview Academie; a study abroad program for middle/high school students. In 2017, she founded a non-profit, Steps for Freedom; an organization dedicated to assisting victims of human trafficking in Nepal. She is currently a Board member of Nueva Generación and President of HistoPath Products. She resides in Cary, NC with her husband and two children.
